Want to be a hero?
I volunteer for Junior Achievement because I know the need exists. As a teenager I had millions of questions about the business world but no role models to ask. Now, in just a few hours I can share lessons that took me years to learn.

Junior Achievement volunteers are heroes. Regardless of profession, they are role models, sharing their experience and expertise with students, carrying a message of opportunity and economic understanding into the classroom.
When you go into the classroom and teach JA, you inspire young people to succeed--in school and
out of school. When you share your real-world experiences as you present the JA materials, you help them bridge the gap between what's on the outside and school--between the subjects they are learning in school and decisions they will make about work and personal finances and their future.
You help young people prepare for the workforce. Your participation makes school relevant for kids and makes it fun. And that means that they are more likely to be contributing, successful members of your community in the future.
