JA in the classroom
It's incredible that within a small frame of time, how much they can learn and how much volunteers can bring in.
Gargi Sengupta, Teacher - Orchard School Middle School
Why give up class time?
Because JA works!
There are a lot of words like "workforce readiness", "experiential learning" and a wealth of resources like survey results, video orientations and tutorials, and more! at our parent site www.ja.org. But what it all boils down to is that Junior Achievement programs work - in
the classroom and for the students.
The volunteer, with your help and guidance, is a breath of outside air.
Armed with age-appropriate lessons, your volunteer works with your kids for about one hour a week over several weeks. (The alternative program, JA in a Day , fits all the lessions into one class day.)
