Statistics about our success
JA programs are regularly and independently evaluated at both the local and national level to ensure that highest program quality. These evaluation continue to demonstrate that Junior Achievement programs provide long-term gains in student learning and similar results can be expected and future evaluations.
Current statistics show:
Students who participate in JA’s elementary school programs have a greater comprehension of economic and business concepts and strengthen their problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
Students who participate in JA’s middle grade programs consistently outperform their peers on objective-referenced tests.
Junior Achievement high school programs impact students’ quality of life. In order for young adults to successfully work in the work they must first understand the world of work. The students who participate in JA’s high school programs use higher levels of thinking to synthesize and integrate information and are more able than other students in taking on leadership roles.
Which are your top three programs?
Elementary School Program- JA’s elementary school programs are the foundation of its K-12 curricula. Six sequential programs, each with five sessions that include a variety of hands-on activities.
Middle Grade Programs– JA’s middle grade programs include economics and business curricula for grades 6-8. Our vision is to give students at this critical juncture in their academic careers a firsthand understanding of the economic issues, which they will confront upon high school graduation.
High school Programs– JA’s high school programs provide economic and business curricula for students in grades 9-12 and include a student led enterprise as will and two on-line programs.
