Statistics about our success

JA programs are regularly and independently evaluated at both the local and national levels to ensure the highest program quality. These evaluations continue to demonstrate that Junior Achievement programs provide long-term gains in student learning and similar results can be expected from future evaluations.

Current statistics show:

Students who participate in JA’s elementary school programs have a greater comprehension of economic and business concepts and strengthen their problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.

Students who participate in JA’s middle grade programs consistently outperform their peers on objective-referenced tests.

Junior Achievement high school programs impact students’ quality of life. In order for young adults to successfully work in the wold of work, they must first understand the world of work. The students who participate in JA’s high school programs use higher levels of thinking to synthesize and integrate information and are more able than other students in taking on leadership roles.
